Alderdale Orchards

Fresh Columbia River water made it possible for us to plant apples in Alderdale Washington in 1998 & 1999 near Mercer Ranches. The initial planting was 310 acres of Grannysmith, Gala, Red Delicious and Golden Delicious apples. Good air drainage, deep soils and a warm eastern Washington climate allow us to grow high quality apples at this orchard

New plantings of Pink Lady, Buckeye Gala and Aztec Fuji are already in progress to maintain a modern sustainable orchard.
In 2001 we expanded north 5.5 miles to Las Aguilas or Alderdale North. Over 4 years we planted an additional 270 acres of high density Bartlett pears, Gala, Fuji, and Grannysmith apples.
